it's interesting how i've always had a very singular, stylized (and cliche) sort of image of a flowy, glowing-winged firebird whenever i think of a phoenix. you have completely ousted this image in my mind and given me this replacement, with seemingly far more personality and knowledge of rebirth than any of mythology's icons.
