Lots of fabric sewn into this painting, so its becoming more like a quilt i guess, homemade oil paints , beeswax, crayons for colours stretched on wood we collected from the garbage. so easy to make art with so little. enjoy
Hi stefan! Im really not trying to copy your paintings or anything...but i got REALLLY inspired by your technique and i was just wondering how you use the beeswax and get that waxy/etched feel?? Im thinking about using beeswax and crayons for my concentration in ap art 0.O and im kinda scared....
hey, you get the etching kind of feel, from layering, and then pulling off layers with a sharp knife ! good luck light underneath dark on top, on paper , i prime it with a thin layer of clear beeswax before coloured ones or oil paint.
Holy crap that is just mind exploding ...with awesome. I love all the little things hidden in this... I could just stare at this for hours and still keep finding something new... I love it. Creates a very interesting and organic texture as well... almost like sinews.
How did you accomplish this?? I'm in auw. truely. I see the details you state.. I've clicked through comments to see if you explain more in depth.. But what exacly was the process here?? I'm amazingly inspired, and equally at a loss.. Please help!
